About Us
On May 14th, 2022 founder Steve Harriger passed away unexpectedly while heading to meet with his son to do his favorite thing, fishing. His family is committed to carrying on Steve's legacy by continuing operations at Lafayette Erie Import Car Care, a place that means so much to the Harriger family.
Lafayette Erie Import Car Care was founded in 1980 by Steve Harriger in Lafayette, Colorado. In the early days, we worked on mainly German & Japanese vehicles before expanding our list of vehicles & services to include Domestic & Import cars & light duty trucks. Today, our services & routine maintenance includes Oil Changes, Brakes, Alignments, Major & Minor Auto Repair, Steering, Suspension, AC, Engine Repair & More. We hire only ASE Trusted/Certified mechanics to ensure a high level quality of repairs & service. We are also the 10th auto repair shop in Colorado to be certified by Air Care Colorado. We also have an A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau.
